Brunel University London’s Arts Centre offers weekly classes in a wide variety of artistic pursuits including: Pottery, Painting, Drawing, Photography, Creative Writing, Craft, Acting and Technical Crew. The creative workshops offer you a chance to meet new people with similar interests and pursue or even start a new hobby! You can earn points for attending Arts Centre workshops.

Participate in First Aid Courses so that you are prepared for any health emergency facing you, your family or friends or the wider community. First Aid certificates are proven to be a useful addition to any CV. You can participate in First Aid courses with St. John Ambulance or other providers such as the British Red Cross. Intramural sport is a programme of organised fixtures on the University campus. It is open to all students and staff at Brunel University. Teams can be entered from halls, departments, societies, sports clubs or any group of friends. Intramural sport is also a great way to keep fit, make new friends and have fun. You earn points for each competitive event attended.
Here at Brunel there are 100+ societies for you to join. Societies are a fantastic way for you to meet like-minded people and can supplement your university studies. The recreational activities on campus can offer a great social life and skills that may not be part of your degree subject. You earn points in this category for involvement in a society with a sport, artistic or charitable focus.
If you have been involved in an activity that isn't listed in one of the other categories, then don't worry, you can still earn points. Fill out the form as per normal, but include a bit more in the description explaining what category you think the activity falls under. We will add it to the list, and apply the points earned towards your Brunel+ Award.
Students that are certified coaches have opportunities to teach and train other students, school pupils, or other individuals. Whether you are coaching a team or training an individual on a one-to-one basis, you can make a difference to the health and wellbeing of other people. You gain points for each activity attended.
The new 2015/16 Coach Development Programme containing courses and qualifications is now open. Courses for Personal Training, Squash Level 1 Coaching, Athletics Coach Assistant, Sports Massage and Weightlifting Level 1 Coaching can be booked in person at the Sports Centre for Indoor Athletics Centre Reception. Volunteering in sporting, health or other community activities such as visiting hospitals and youth working. This is a part of the Brunel Volunteers scheme and is ideal for those interested in sport or health related positions. You earn points for activities on a termly basis.
