The Digital Skills and Employability Platform on Brightspace will help you develop transferrable skills via self-paced online training. You will also be able to receive badge(s)/certificate(s) upon completion of each topic. Simply send us proof of completion (as uploaded on Wiseflow) to receive a verification code.
The Brunel Buddies scheme aims to support new students through their first weeks at Brunel. Buddies are trained Brunel students who use their own personal experience of being a new student to answer any questions current new students may have, as well as sign posting them to support services at Brunel.

That’s why the Brunel Buddy Scheme was established, encouraging current students to utilise their own experience to support new students during their first few weeks at Brunel. Employed by the University to support and advise new resident students and to promote and encourage a sense of community within the University. In addition, the Team Leaders for Residences' Student Mentors, meet with Operations Managers for each Hall of Residence and cascade any issues. You earn 20 BrunelPlus points for each time you work as a Residences Student Mentor, appointed by Brunel.
The Student Ambassador and the PDC BCA Schemes give students the opportunity to represent the University to the outside world through a variety of activities.
